$99 plus applicable government fees
Are government fees included in the $99?
No, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Applicable government fees are separate from SCILLAN's service fee.
What is Annual Verification?
Annual Verification is SCILLAN's process for confirming that the entity information used for a recurring compliance filing is current and accurate before preparation or submission.
This may include confirming information such as:
- Legal entity name
- Principal business address
- Mailing address
- Registered agent information
- Governing persons
- Officers or managers
- Contact information
- Other information required for the applicable filing
Why does SCILLAN require Annual Verification?
Entity information can change during the year.
SCILLAN requires verification before certain compliance filings to help reduce errors and avoid submitting outdated information.
How long does Annual Verification take?
For many clients, Annual Verification takes approximately:
5–10 minutes
The actual time depends on the entity and whether information has changed.
When does SCILLAN start processing the annual filing?
SCILLAN's processing begins after:
- The applicable service has been purchased
- Annual Verification is completed
- Required information is received
- Required documents are received
- Necessary authorization is provided
- Applicable payment is completed
If information is incomplete, processing may not begin until the requested information is received.
How long does Annual Compliance Filing Support take?
SCILLAN's Estimated Processing Time is:
3–5 business days after Annual Verification is completed
Government processing time is separate.
Are the 3–5 business days guaranteed?
No.
The 3–5 business day timeframe is SCILLAN's estimated normal service-processing time.
It does not guarantee government processing, acceptance, or completion within the same period.

- 30 days before an applicable deadline
- 1 week before an applicable deadline
These reminders are designed to help clients prepare for upcoming compliance requirements.
Are Compliance Alerts the same as filing the report?
No.
Compliance Alerts are reminders.
A reminder does not mean that:
- A filing has been purchased
- A filing has been prepared
- A filing has been submitted
- A filing has been accepted
- A government fee has been paid
Filing support may require a separate purchase, Annual Verification, authorization, and payment.
Are Compliance Alerts included with Registered Agent service?
SCILLAN's Texas Registered Agent + Compliance Alerts service includes applicable compliance reminders under current service terms.
However, filing preparation and submission are separate services unless expressly included.
What happens if I ignore a compliance reminder?
SCILLAN cannot guarantee completion of a filing if the client does not provide required information, verification, authorization, or payment in time.
Clients remain responsible for responding promptly to compliance requests.
Will SCILLAN automatically file for me when the deadline is close?
No.
SCILLAN does not automatically submit every filing simply because a reminder was sent.
The required service must be purchased or otherwise authorized where applicable.
Will SCILLAN remind me by text message?
SCILLAN's standard compliance and registered agent notifications are primarily sent by email.
SMS reminders are not part of the standard registered agent notification process.
What if I don't receive a compliance reminder?
Clients are responsible for keeping their contact information current and monitoring applicable business obligations.
If a customer believes they did not receive an expected reminder, they should contact SCILLAN Support.
