Estimated Processing Time refers to the amount of time SCILLAN generally needs to review, prepare, verify, process, or submit a service after all required information and payment have been received.
It does not necessarily include the time a government agency needs to review or approve the filing.

When does the processing period begin?

SCILLAN's estimated processing period begins after all required:

• Information
• Documents
• Signatures
• Verification
• Authorizations
• Payment

Are Texas Express fees included in SCILLAN's service fee?

No.
Texas Express may expedite government review.
It does not guarantee that the document will be accepted or approved.

They are different.
SCILLAN Priority Service relates to expedited handling by SCILLAN.
Texas Express relates to expedited government processing by the Texas Secretary of State.
A customer may need one or both depending on the service.

Does SCILLAN Priority Service guarantee faster government approval?

No.
Priority processing by SCILLAN does not automatically guarantee faster government processing.
A separate government expedited-processing option may be required where available.

Can a customer buy Priority Service without Texas Express?

Possibly.
That depends on the service.
SCILLAN may be able to prepare or process the client's order more quickly even when no government expedite option is selected.

Can a customer buy Texas Express without SCILLAN Priority Service?

TIME-SENSITIVE FILINGS

I need my filing completed by a specific date. Can SCILLAN guarantee it?

No.
SCILLAN cannot guarantee government processing, acceptance, or approval by a specific date.
Customers with time-sensitive requests should contact SCILLAN before ordering so available options can be reviewed.

Sia should never promise same-day completion unless that exact service and timing have been specifically confirmed by SCILLAN.

SCILLAN's processing period may not begin until all required information has been received.

What happens if the government rejects the filing?

A rejected filing may require:
