  3. Provide the required entity and contact information.
  4. Complete any additional intake or verification requested.
  5. Provide required signatures or authorizations.
  6. Submit any required documents through the approved secure method.
  7. SCILLAN begins processing after all required information and payment have been received.

What happens after I place an order?

Depending on the service, the process may include:

  • Order creation
  • Service or subscription setup
  • Client portal access
  • Intake completion
  • Entity verification
  • Document upload
  • Filing preparation
  • Client approval or signature
  • Government submission
  • Status tracking
  • Completion notice
  • Document delivery

The exact process varies by service.

When does SCILLAN start working on my order?

Processing begins after SCILLAN receives all required:

  • Information
  • Documents
  • Signatures
  • Verification
  • Authorizations
  • Payment

If required information is missing or incomplete, processing may not begin until the missing items are received.

Do I need to complete an intake form?

Possibly.
Some services require additional information after checkout.
The intake process may be completed through the website, client portal, secure form, or another approved SCILLAN system.

SCILLAN uses the legal entity name to correctly associate:

  • Orders
  • Subscriptions
  • Documents
  • Compliance records
  • Government filings
  • Client portal records
  • Support requests

with the correct business.

What if my company has not been formed yet?

For formation services, customers may provide the proposed legal entity name and the required formation information.

Can I purchase more than one service for the same entity?

Yes.
For example, the same business may purchase:

  • LLC Formation
  • EIN Registration
  • Registered Agent + Compliance Alerts
  • Operating Agreement
  • Amendment Filing
  • Annual Compliance Filing Support

Each service should be associated with the correct legal entity.

Can I purchase services for multiple entities?

Yes.
Each legal entity must be identified separately.
Certain services, including Registered Agent + Compliance Alerts, are priced and maintained on a per-entity basis.

Can one registered agent subscription cover multiple entities?

No.
Each separate legal entity requires its own registered agent subscription.

ENTITY RECORDS

Why does SCILLAN keep separate records for each entity?

Each legal entity has its own:

  • Government filings
  • Registered agent service
  • Compliance requirements
  • Subscription records
  • Documents
  • Filing history
  • Client instructions

Keeping entities separate helps reduce filing and recordkeeping errors.

What is an Entity ID?

SCILLAN may use an internal Entity ID to help identify and track each legal entity across its systems.
The Entity ID is an internal administrative identifier and does not replace a government filing number or EIN.

Using both helps ensure services, documents, subscriptions, and tasks are associated with the correct business.

SCILLAN will provide the applicable Annual Verification process through the website, portal, secure form, or another approved system.

How long does Annual Verification take?

For many clients, Annual Verification takes approximately:
